Biography, Orientation for
Ministers Familiar with Dr. Morris Cerullo
“I was orphaned at a
young age and taken to a Taoist temple to be raised in the monastery.
The Taoist religion believes in many gods. When I was growing up, I struggled
with a lack of identity, due to being an orphan. I had so many
problems. People tried to help. They tried to discipline me and teach me
their religion. They tried just about everything. “Men
can teach, but there is only one power that can change a life, the
power of Jesus Christ! When I was
fourteen, someone explained about Jesus, and His salvation, and I
received Him as my Lord. I developed an incredible passion for
the heavenly Father and received the call of God on my life. I had
such a desire to win souls for the Kingdom of God and to be used by
God, but I didn’t know what to do until I received information about
the Morris Cerullo School of Ministry in San Diego,
California. “Everyone I asked about this anointed servant of God told
me that if I wanted to preach the gospel effectively, with a proof
producing ministry—where the sick are healed and miracles occur—I
needed to sit under Morris Cerullo.
Subsequently, I was accepted
as a student, and traveled to the United States to attend a
six month session of the School of Ministry. “Morris
Cerullo teaches that you must have an experience from God! While
I was attending the School of Ministry in San Diego, I received my
experience. I had a powerful visitation from God. It caused me to cry
out, ‘God, give me the ability to return to Asia with the same teaching
and the same anointing as Brother Cerullo.’ This enabled me to
transfer it to my people so that we could reach Asia for Jesus
Christ! “Asia has two-thirds of the world’s population, and ninety-six
percent of them are unsaved and believe that all gods are God, even
Jesus, with no conception of what it means to be saved. I knew that I
had to somehow show my people that there is only one true and living God.
Therefore, I had to learn more about the Bible and how to demonstrate the
resurrection power of Jesus Christ.
“At the conclusion of the six-month
session, Brother Cerullo took the students with him to his miracle
rally in Sacramento, California. On the first night of the meeting,
the students were the altar workers. After Brother Cerullo finished
preaching, he called for the people to come forward for salvation and
healing. It was our job to lead them into receiving what they
needed from God, whether it was salvation, healing, deliverance, or a
miracle. “I had never seen a miracle happen before. I knew that when
Brother Cerullo ministered around the world, miracles happened. Yet, I’d
never seen a miracle with my own eyes. I can tell you, when you see a
miracle, it will change your life and raise your faith level to a
point where you will never be the same again.
“That night I was standing at the
side of the platform when Brother Cerullo gave
the invitation, and I noticed a man walking toward me. His
right eye had a cataract, and he could not see.
Brother Cerullo directed the people to place their
hands where they needed healing. I stood next to this man,
as Brother Cerullo prayed and released the anointing from the
platform. Then Brother Cerullo shouted, ‘Do what you could not
do before!’ When Brother Cerullo declared this, the man next to me
removed his hand from his eye and focused on me. As I watched, that
cataract slowly disappeared—totally and completely! That
experience changed my life.
“The following month, I returned to
Asia. I was only 19 years old, but God had heard my prayer the night of
His visitation because I immediately started having crusades all over
Malaysia and in other Asian nations. We started seeing thousands of people
being touched by God. All types of miracles occurred. The same
manifestation of the power of God that Brother Cerullo taught
and demonstrated to his students is being manifested in our
crusades. “God is still in the miracle-working business! Whatever the
need is, or whatever the sickness, the resurrection power of God is still
available. He is able to heal the sick and deliver people from bondage.
Through the Name of Jesus, demons are cast out, the sick are healed, and
those who have no hope receive hope from Jesus.
“God is calling believers to break out
of their man-made limitations and have faith for breakthroughs on
every front. Every place that God has sent me in ministry, I yearn to see
His people love, serve, and live together in one accord, setting the
course for Holy Ghost revival!”
“I also began a full-time pastoral
ministry. The call of an evangelist eventually led me to serve as Morris
Cerullo’s field coordinator and crusade director for mass
rallies, with attendance of up to one million people in a
single service. Between 1987 and 1992, I served as the Director for
Asia for Morris Cerullo World Evangelism. “We started The School of Acts.
The name and methodology was taken from the Book of Acts. Our purpose
was to bring the Church back to the same operation as in the Book of Acts,
to train the people as I was trained, and to do the works of God. “We
endeavor to see believers trained and empowered with the Spirit, just as
Morris Cerullo did at the School of Ministry. We are going for nothing
less than the most excellent way. We have men and women (whom we
have raised up) who now have proven ministries and to whom God has
given specific messages to share. “The School of Acts is being used by God
to fulfill a vital gap in reaching Asia for Jesus. “The men and women
attending The School of Acts graduate with the same fire for evangelism
that I had when I completed the School of Ministry. Our goal is
to produce a new breed of believers—committed believers, who are
hungry for more of God’s power and Presence and who are willing to
dedicate and yield themselves to Him for service in His Kingdom. “We
are transforming ordinary believers into anointed ministers of the gospel,
equipping them to be skillful in the Word of God.
Our graduates are people who have a
revelation of their covenant rights as born-again believers and who are
committed to turning Asia to the knowledge of Jesus Christ. “We will
reach Asia by preaching the good news of the gospel and by demonstrating
the power of God through the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Just as Jesus commissioned
His disciples: And these attesting signs will accompany
those who believe: in My name they will drive out demons; they
will speak in new languages; They will pick up serpents; and [even]
if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them; they will lay their
hands on the sick, and they will get well. So then the Lord Jesus, after
He had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and He sat down at the
right had of God. [Ps. 110:1.] And they went out and
preached everywhere, while the Lord kept working with them and confirming
the message by the attesting signs and miracles that closely accompanied
[it]. Amen (so be it). Mark 16:17-20, AMP your emerging destiny and you will live in the power of
an accelerated life style.
